Robato's ANPR weighbridge automation does not replace or interfere with existing weighbridge hardware. Instead, it securely reads weight data from the existing weighbridge controller via serial interface (RS232 / RS485 / TCP-IP), making it ideal for retrofit projects and brownfield installations.

Vehicles are registered in the system with vehicle number, transporter details, material type, customer/supplier mapping, and optional PO/DO linkage.
Vehicle Entry & ANPR Recognition
Vehicle approaches weighbridge, loop sensor detects presence, ANPR camera captures number plate, vehicle is validated automatically, traffic light turns green, boom barrier opens (if installed). No operator involvement.
Vehicle Position Validation
Position sensors ensure correct alignment, system blocks weighing if vehicle is misaligned, traffic lights guide driver positioning.
Automatic Weight Capture
System reads weight from weighbridge controller, stable weight condition validated, gross or tare weight recorded automatically, duplicate or manipulated entries blocked.
